SPR — Semantic–Pragmatic Reversal
📘 Module Overview
SPR detects when a statement’s semantic content (what is said) contradicts its pragmatic function (how it operates), exposing manipulation masked by polite or ambiguous phrasing.
🎯 Use Cases
- Identify weaponized civility (e.g. “With all due respect…” used to dominate).
- Detect false neutrality in political or AI-generated content.
- Expose rhetorical coercion behind ostensibly benign phrasing.
🛠️ Key Signals
- Surface–Function Gap Index (SFGI)
- Politeness Weaponization Detector (PWD)
- Implicit Threat Parser (ITP)
